Nigel grew up on the Coast, and after years in Brisbane we made the move back — drawn home by the lifestyle, the community, and the chance to give our beautiful young children the kind of relaxed, wholesome upbringing we'd always wanted for them.
We started Suzie Brown Design with a simple belief — great design shouldn't be reserved for the few. The Sunshine Coast has some of the best locations in the country, it also happens to be full of older homes that have been waiting decades for the right update.

With a Bachelor of Architectural Design, qualifications in Interior Design, and over a decade of experience — spanning high-end professional projects and several personal home renovations — Suzie brings a rare combination of formal training, creative instinct, and real-world experience to every project.
Suzie is the creative force behind Suzie Brown Design. She has the ability to see the potential in any space to make it work better for you - both aesthetically but also practically.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and refreshingly grounded — she listens closely, designs boldly, and ensures every space feels both beautiful and deeply personal.

Nigel Brown
The driving force behind every project, Nigel ensures beautiful design becomes reality — on time, on vision, and on budget. With an innate understanding of costs and construction, he has a rare ability to map a realistic budget before formal quotes even land — a skill honed through years of hands-on renovation experience.
Alongside SBD, Nigel is also a commercial airline pilot — a career that has shaped the methodical, detail-driven approach he brings to every project. Precision and calm under pressure are second nature.
